Emma 2008

Emma won an county writing award.  The theme for the contest was “I can make a difference…”  The contest entries were first evaluated at each individual school level.  Winners from each school were then evaluated against other entries district-wide.  District winners were sent to compete at the county level.  Emma’s story was one of 5 honored among all grades 3-5 students in Santa Clara County!  Emma's story is a leftist environmental story.  Not sure where that came from.   :)    Emma was at home one school day, too sick to attend school. She was doing something unproductive (computer) for too long, so I nixed that and said she had to write. Pfft, award.
